These people really know how to make a shoe. I own both styles and both are great for their purposes. The other one I use as an everyday shoe. This style has a little more cushion and stability to workout in. Importantly, it’s not over cushioned… it provides a flat stable base to be able to do heavier lifts while still having just enough cushion for more cardio type movements.

Use these shoes for the gym and running. They are very comfortable and work great for both activities. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but I bought size 11. Glad I sized up, wouldn’t want them any smaller!

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, the ATG Trainer is an excellent option for daily walks. They are zero drop (completely flat) and have a wide toe box like other barefoot shoes, but they have more cushioning than most barefoot options out there.
This makes them a fantastic daily wear if you consistently find yourself walking on concrete, asphalt or other hard surfaces. While walking in overly cushioned shoes is not natural, neither is walking barefoot on these hard surfaces. Hope this helps!
